Meet Jaime
Jaime Fitzwater is Dovetail’s Staunton-based designer, working with homeowners and builders to create cabinetry and countertop designs that are as functional as they are inspiring.
With 13 years of kitchen and bath design experience, Jaime is known for her creative eye, clear communication, and ability to make the design process feel approachable and enjoyable. She brings a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to every project. She loves guiding clients from first ideas to finished spaces—and there’s nothing better than seeing a vision come to life.
A Rockingham County native, Jaime earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from James Madison University. After college, she headed to Virginia Beach, where she found her niche in kitchen and bath design, then spent the next eight years honing her craft in Richmond before returning to the Valley to be closer to family.
Jaime lives in the small town of Churchville with her husband, Brad, their energetic daughter Lyana, and their music and outdoor-loving son, Lochlan.
Outside the showroom, Jaime enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, checking out local breweries and wineries, and listening to live music. A passionate DIYer, she’s always dreaming up new projects—whether or not there’s time to finish them all.
